We trade under a name with the same meaning as our registered name, ONE AUGUST, only because it sounds better and we love both names.

WHY THE BIRD?

The stork bird lives long hence symbolizes long life. The stork bird dives into the water and resurfaces with tasty food. It is highly symbolic for fishers who often fish in the dark with the hope of getting something despite seeing nothing. In addition to birth, motherhood and protection, the stork also represents fidelity, provision, endurance, and creativity.
